WHY CAN'T THIS BE SO??? | Reviewer: LOUIS | 4/19/07
Oh Man...When I first heard this song in the movie..it ripped deep into my soul and I fell in love with it..hearing the kids sing the chorus made
me feel their pain and suffering though I can never imagine what it must of felt like in real life. This song should be played from every house and/or every mountain top blasted on all the radio stations around the country instead of the garbage that is usually played..It is sad to see these types of atrocities take place in this world. god help us all and give us the wisdom and compassion to share the wealth and love on this planet..all regardless of color creed and/or religion..god bless you rwanda, Africa, and all nations for our childrens sake ...
peace louis
visionary as usual | Reviewer: reuben | 4/7/07
i have just played this song on a local kids show in dar-es-salaam tanzania on clouds fm and the response from the listeners is overwhelming....wyclef has always been a deep thinking lyricist and ave always enjoyed his work...as for the movie..its such a pity to see the actual value of african lives in the eyes of SOME people....
We can HOPE | Reviewer: Marc-Kenson Joseph | 2/22/07
Thanks Clef. Let me tell you that we love you man. Hey Rwanda, proud to be an African nation. Like Corneille-your son- in Canada now, stay free and positive. For get ethnic and try to built day by day the collectivity. Peace to the fonder of "des Milles collines Hotel".
Peace!

Such a powerful song for such a terrible atrocity.
Paul Rusesabagina is one of the greatest men to ever live.
Praise be to the day that Africa is united!
overwhelming | Reviewer: gary | 7/28/06
The children singing the chorus in this song is what made want to go to Rwanda ever since last year and in the last two weeks I was in Rwanda on a mission trip with a team doing what we could to help rebuild the nation 12 years too late. When I hear the child's chorus, I think of all the children d, killed, and d in the genocide and how in the song and perhaps in real life, they have found a profound sense of peace, the same sense I experience in real-life Rwanda. The heart and core of this song is so vibrant and undeniable that it is above the judgment of critisism.
