It's sad, but it's not in a way. The lyrics and the music are well put together, and this makes it one of Within Temptation's best songs ever. I also liked Angels and Stand My Groud, and all of the songs on "The Heart of Everything" their new album, but Memories has to be my favourite song out of them all.. Within Temptation is always good about staying true to their roots in classical music. I love how they seamlessly incorporate modern instrumentation with classical technique. It's yummy.
