Come on let's put two and two together. Yeah this is obviously based off of Kerr's "Daggerspell" and it's beautiful-though not one of my favorites (mainly because I thought both Jill and Nevin were PATHETIC). Second: Here in the US of A, we make the unfortunate conclusion that WT is "Goth" and that that's all they do. Yeah, they are pretty Gothic-one of the reasons why I'm obsessed-, but they do perform some wonderful rock-another reason I'm obsessed.

Yes, in these here United States, we unfortunately compare Within Temptation to Evanescence.
Come on people, let's face it, they're not even close. Not even in the same genre. Evanescence has a dark feel, I'll give them that, but they're just hard rock. Within Temptation has the edge on Goth Rock.
Now, I hate to say this, but Amy Lee wins when it comes to vocals. You have to agree when I say it's much more powerful than Sharon's. Do I prefer her voice? No. Why? Because Sharon's is so much prettier, making it better for me to listen to.
Jillian is one of my favorite songs, next to Angels and Our Solemn Hour

I've loved this band for 2 years on and off. This song is my favorite. I love the use of soprano voices in the background. It really gives a great Gothic touch. Rock on W.T.!

I love the song the music is great. Her voice is wonderful!!! I use to love Evanescence but with her firing everybody and their mother I'm sticking with this band because Sharon's voice knocks out Amy Lee's voice.

The song derives from a fantasy book called Daggerspell. Jill(ian) was a character in that book and the singer represents her ex-lover, Nevyn, who doomed her in the past.

OMG! i've never even heard of this band b4, I was just istening to some anime music videos and as soon as i heard this song I said I LOVE THESE PPL!!!!!!! This song is now #1 on my list and that music video is also now my favorite. (and i don't watch very many music videos)

HOLY MACAREL!!
This is the most amazing song ever!! It totally matches one of the creatures I've created before on my freewebs and neopets (yeah, I do that xD). Her voice is totally angelic in every way, and it's much easier to sing to myself than Evanescense.

One of the greatest songs ever! I love her voice, its so much better than majority of artists. Oh, and I would encourage everyone to read Dagerspell by Katharine Kerr, which is what this song is based on.
