This song can be used to express moods like sadness and frustration but always puts a claming ending to the end as if to say a huge fight with a friend is at an end. about the song meaning | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/15/07 for the guy up there who said he didn't understand the meaning of it it compares Aquarius (some greek god or character) to the sea. throughout the song, it says how the sea (aquarius) made her free, and mentions the day when she will die drowned ("That one day you won't let me go, I'll drown, you'll take me down.") there are other references but, for those, analyse the lyrics yourself :P By the way this song is lovely, I had it in my head when I was on vacation to the beach.. it made me feel like not coming back.
