There's always a message, and frequently it's a positive one, or one about dealing with or overcoming something. I can't stand when people get overzealous and wind up breaking the rules they say they subscribe to. It gives us a bad name! I read the books and have read many other authors of vampire books and lets just say Stephanie Meyers is in the lower class of a writer, because honestly the first time I started Twilight I was bored out of my mind, I only finished the series because I never stop a series until its finished. Let's stop looking at the song with all the satanic themes and christianity, and especially not from the Twilight perspective. Get a life. It seems pretty simple to me. She's referring to this guy as an angel because he 'saved' her, whether literally or emotionally, we can't really know. Later in the song she's basically saying that he only saved her to earn her trust and then betray it. Finally, it comes into perpective that she's not going to let him get away with it; she knows what he did and why, and she won't let him hurt anyone else. It's all an analogy. I hate it when people use a wonderful song as a reference to Twilight. The Twilight series is overrated. It's fine to read it and enjoy it but please, don't become obsessed over fiction. I know not everyone is obsessed but still, Twilight is a cheesy romance that ruins the whole image of vampires. Anyways, this song is beautiful and amazing as is the video. Reviewers have no right to be rude to Christians just because of steroetyping and false ideas placed into their heads. Of course, it's the same with Christians. Metal is not the work of the devil. How much emphasis do I need to put on that last statement? I hope such stereotypes are not keeping people away from beautiful and, quite frankly, the most intelligent type of music I have seen from these past generations.
