By Pages:   1    2    3    4    5    6    7    8    Add Your New Review About The Song The Reviews about Teenage Dirtbag (page 2/ 8) ------ performed by Wheatus this reminds me of middle school | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/6/09 i was 10 almost turning 11 when this song came out, i was leaving toluca lake elementary school & entering in the life of a 6th grader at walter reed middle school[go wolves!] i loved this girl named noelle, she didn't know who i was though, i was like jason biggs, i wasn't popular which made everything worse on top of being a 6th grader surrounded by 7th & 8th graders middle school for that year seemed like high school to me i remember the halloween dance was 2 days away & i wanted to ask noelle if she would go with me too shy me, i asked a supposed to be good friend if he'd ask her for me and when the day of the dance came, she was out in front of the school with her friends[all beautiful girls] & my little crew of friends was about 10 feet away from her & her friends, so i casually walked up, & her friends were circled around her, & so my friends circled around me, & they gave me the confidence to go ask noelle out, & when i exited my circle of friends her friends seemed to be staring at me as i was walking over to them, as soon as i got to her circle of friends an 8th grader, one of my suppose to be good friends, stepped infront of me, wrapped his arm around noelle, whispered something in her ear, & they both laughed while looking at me, and walked off with her crowd of friends & mine tailing behind, & so ironic this is, teenage dirtbag was playing on the intercom, & i swallowed hard, & i went to the halloween dance on campus, the whole walk to the dance, which was in the big gym, teenage dirtbag played loudly & from that day on i loved that song, hated it, & was saddened by it excellent song i hate middle school i hate high school & i hate college thanks LUV IT! | Reviewer: Chloe | 3/10/09 I'm actually learning this song on the guitar at school (hence, I looked up the lyrics). I find this kinda funny, cos way back when it first came out, I think I would have been about 6... I loved this song to bits and it actually inspired me to buy my first guitar at age 7ish. So the lyrics speak to me and it makes me sad because in the end of the song they go to an Iron Maiden concert, which we won't be doing :( God it makes me miss her. This song just sort of takes that feeling of not being worth crap, adds it to teen fantasies, mixes it all up and somehow makes it sound like fun. BUT, this is a FANTASTIC song. I must have played it on my Ipod at least 20 times today and I absolutely can't get enough.
