The build up and the meaning, it's funny to hear so many people feel the same way about the song and PS - the cowboy bebop video of this song IS amazing, if you guys love this song and haven't seen it I'd suggest you youtube it! daily | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/24/07 i listen to this song virtually everyday and i agree for some peculiar reason i don't tire of it. i guess the lyrics are about harboring deep feelings and compassion for somebody but being in a situation that precludes the possibility of a relationship. the crescendo in this song really gets me. a build -up of bittersweet feelings about what could and never will be. a movie director could have a field day with this song in my opinion. it provides for some very dramatic music that is still kind of down tempo in ways.
