Huh. | Reviewer: Andrew | 1/1/08
I find it odd that Rivers would be aware of ECW in 1996 (or at least it seems that way with the Johnny Grunge/New Jack deal). eh
amazing | Reviewer: leah | 9/2/07
This song pretty much sums up everything I've ever felt. I love it and it is one of the best songs off of the best album ever, period.
pinkerton | Reviewer: bubba | 7/5/07
you must be on drugs because this song is much better and the entire pinkerton album is better than that P.O.S. we are all on drugs!!!!!
re: why doesn't it ever get radio play? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/27/07
Uh... "even better than We are All on Drugs?" That's like saying grilled salmon tastes 'even better' than a pile of dog shit. Of course it does. The Blue Album and Pinkteron are by far two of the best rock albums ever made, I've loved them since 1994 and 1996. The B-Sides are good, but everything else since is pretty lame in comparison, especially Make Believe.
you guys suck my nuts | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/24/07
these comments are stupid
even better than we are all on drugs?
thats one o fhte worst pieces of shit a band has released
pinkerton is one of the most defining albums of the old emo genre
Seriously? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/29/07
By the comments you guys are making, it sounds as if you've never heard of Weezer before Make Believe.
Pretty pathetic. Pinkerton WAS a standout album for Weezer, though not initially. This song is more than just a rock out song, it's a song of desperation and cunning lyrics, and it's adorable.
At any rate, you guys do have it right that it's an amazing song. Love it.
I Heart El Scorcho (And Pinkerton) | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/2/07
This is in my top five weezer songs...it's also probably the closest i think i've ever seen rivers get to writing a true romantic song, but it's edgy which makes it even more awesome...also comes from the pinkerton album which is the best weezer album from their discography lyrics-wise...i also have a funny feeling that this song is about the girl he ended up marrying
Dude, Ever Get the "Madame Butterfly" References? | Reviewer: Hunter | 11/17/06
"Cio-Cio San" is the lead female in the tragic opera "Madame Butterfly"...also the album name, "Pinkerton" is a character in the same opera. He's the lieutenant who marries Cio-Cio San and abandons her...
why doesn't it ever get radio play? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/27/06
This is Weezer's best song! Better than Beverly Hills or even We Are All On Drugs. It has the best song structure ever. Pinkerton isn't a real stand-out album for Weezer, but this song is great.
