the best band ever | Reviewer: Brandon | 7/9/07

thanks to this band i am not an emo-cutter, i got into it because of the screamo sound, but then started to listen to the words and it truly did help me, ty underoath

You really gotta respect these guys. Now what the idiot before me says is there just like any emo/screamo. Now I know emo/screamo it being half of my 1,000 song library. Ok, Underoath being my favorite, I have everything excpept for the special edition of Only Chasing Safety. You have to see it as the band, not emo/screamo. If you really listen and hear all the sounds you will realize that Underoath is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

UnderOATH. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/3/07

I think UnderOATH is an amazing band, not only because of the lyrics and how they transformed my thought about Christian bands, but the vocals have stayed strong throughout their albums, as well as their excellent instrumentals. I think that they did very well on "They're Only Chasing Safety," I'd have to say that's my favorite album from them, but the first song I listened to from them was "Cries of the Past," and I was absolutely blown away.

old underoath | Reviewer: some dude | 6/27/07

dude.. that band may be named underoath but it isnt underoath anymore without octavio or dallas taylor. it just isnt the same without dallas and they have changed for the worse.

Old Underoath | Reviewer: Aaron | 4/29/07

Underoath has been a great band since they started, and the reason that people normally pick a side of "old Underoath" or "new Underoath" is because their lineup is different on every single record (except for Great Line and Chasing Safety, they have the same people), and before their fourth release, their screaming vocalist was different. I like both, but personally my favorite song from them is "When the Sun Sleeps". It kind of marks that transition from their early death metal and metalcore days to their fusion of alternative rock and emocore into their style. Underoath, old and new, is definitely an huge influence to me and my band.

Recently converted to Underoath:-) | Reviewer: Navina | 2/14/07

Underoath were featured on this one cd i bought and I mean they were like many artists on this cd but for me they just stood out. It was that track You're Ever So Inviting. I think I may have played that track so many times it's countless! But it really meant something to me.It's like all the angst, pain and sadness I felt at the time and still feel everyday of my life, was expressed by Underoath.Underoath are honest and beautifully aggressive!! Love them!!!!!!

UnderOATH<3 | Reviewer: To Whom It May Concern | 2/17/07

Now I can say i've been listening to UnderOATH since the "act of depression" cd back in 1998. I was only a youngin at the time and I can honestly say that to this day Underoath never ceases to amaze me. With every album & member change they've managed to grow as a band for the better. Even to this day they're remained one of my favorite bands of all time and just write good music. And whoever said they wrote Commercial Rock is seriously mistaken. And for the fans of the vocalist (aaron gillespie) of underOATH. Check out his side project The Almost.

Underoath | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/9/07

Underoath i think are brilliant. So addictive, so much fun to listen to. I HATED them at first and considered them mindless chugging. What a wanker i was to think that. Every song is great. Fuck the old stuff... with all the line up changes, the old stuff is no longer what they are about. they have moved with the times well. Experimantal hardcore!!!
