The Reviews about A Boy Brushed Red Living in Black and White (page 4/ 10)

Look Deeper | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/20/08

This song may be about sex at the surface....but it's definitely deeper than that. If you're a devoted Underoath fan like me, you have to know that the only way to portray the feeling in the words is to use a real life scenario that some people can relate to. That's what makes it such an intensly awesome song. Like many said before me...I think this song is about getting over your sins because God has already forgiven them...but i think its also about the pleasure you think you're going to get from something and realizing that it's not actually all that you hoped for it to be.

my opinion | Reviewer: megan curtis | 2/19/08

I love this song... it means different things to different people. I think its about to innocent people in love and thinking that sex is something they should do since they are in love and because they crave each other. But they arent ready but they do it anyways and their relationship falls apart. This all doing with thinking that sex is an only option, to save their relationship that was never going to work so their living a lie because they dont love each other, and yet they still desire each other but the sex and everything else dosent mean anything to them..
there is other ways to turn this song around bt this is what I Think of this song

i think, | Reviewer: Esh. | 2/5/08

this song means different things to different people. it's clearly about too people who have messed up bad. i think it does have something to do with sex, but that's only a small bit of it. i think it has more to do with love. and losing it. about how in a moment we can forget the important things.
i don't no, whatever situation i'm in their songs always mean different things, and i'm sure that goes for most of us. their genius, and you can't be genius without the riddle.

no | Reviewer: Alex | 2/1/08

this song is not about sex. if anything its metaphoric to a relationship gone bad. and just because it says slit you wrists doesn't make it "emo", because i personally dont think underoath is. if it did, health class would be the "emo-est" class in high school. great band.

down to earth+ | Reviewer: die4love | 1/23/08

Christian People But Not Music | Reviewer: Daniel Fleury | 1/11/08

UnderOath was just introduced to me and i like this song alot. and in the short month i have none abotu these people i have found out that all the band member s are christian but there music is not

this song is in fact about sex. in full its about two people haveing sex for the first time and the slitting wrists is about a guy sheating on his gurl and want to take his life for it thats y people refer to this as "emo music"

What I think.. | Reviewer: <3 | 1/6/08

My opinion on what this is about a young couple having sex for the first time, and eh things go wrong? ex. this line
Can you feel your heartbeat racing?
Can you taste the fear in her sweat?
You've done this wrong
Its too far gone
These sheets tell of regret
I admit that I'm just a fool for you
I am just a fool for you

&

Don't shake, I hate to see you tremble
Trembling, you've lost your touch
Haven't you?
I'm so addicted.
So addicted!
