u2 have the knack of creating touching anthems like 'a sort of homecoming' and they have outdone themselves with Magnficent'!! From the very start it hits the perfect notes and once the words start rolling the song just magnifies!! All emotions packed into a single track!! Bono truly lifts us up with his wonderful voice and edge, adam and larry just combine to make this song truly 'Magnificent'!!!

I havnt heard many of their albums, but i have to say U2 is the best band Ive heard. Ive been in love with them since pre-k and i still love them now going to middle school. This is perhaps the most moving song ive herd in a while. I tmakes me feel better after a crappy day and... i just cant describe the feeling it gives me. I just love the whole band. Good work U2!

"..in this space and time I had the opportunity to be in U2' concert in Athens 360o tour (9/3/10). A Magnificent time of my life. (I a fun of them since their first begining early 80's). I felt a lot of love. This song is one that includes everything: love, joy, happyness, wisdom and reminds me how full of love they are for expressing it in that song. Thank you from my heart for giving me the opportunity to listen and see you in this beautiful concert in my country.

Well... Being U2's fan since the middle 90s I admire all their songs, 'cause it's absolutely interstellar music, not from our universe... More than 30 Bono's voice still the same - still emotional, sexyal, passionate voice. But "Magnificent" shown me new U2 - it's not only a song, it's their pearl... It includes all - love, misery, high feelings, God, silence and loneless, tears and kisses... I finally fallen in love with this song. 2 weeks ago I personaly thanked Mr. Bono Vox for those unforgettable feelings I had when I listened to his "Magnificent"...)

I just recently gone to a U2 concert courtesy of my wonderful brother and they had ROCKED my NIGHT! I was "reborn" into loving U2 again and decided to listen to his other songs and ran across this one. I fell in love with this one..and now I cant stop listening to it. It echos in my head and heart everyday now. U2 guys..KEEP IT UP! Hands down the best Ive ever heard in my life! MUAH!

This is undoubtedly the Best U2 song ever, amazing sounds, singing, just out of this world. It is more than a love song, it makes your heart beat fast, lifts your spirits and wants you to sort of help the World, creating peace everywhere. Love this song, very up lifting.. great guitar solo near end which makes it really take off. Redemption for that cringy "get on your boots" thing, everyone should try and forget about. Marks for this song: 9/10 deducting 1 mark only because its likely to be played to death and as a result we will all be sick of it someday.

this is really one ofe the best song of u2 .... im not a fan of anything but when someone asks me what is my favourite group /band first one that comes to my mind is U2 and now after haveing listened to this song and remembering the many others i know why : u2 give me EXCEPTIONAL feelings and emotions. this song in particular. It made me feel in love. Wonderful Intro , tune , guitar and luv Bono voice. However this song is not flawless... it could had been better: I wanted it LONGER to fly forever. At beginning the first single "get on your boots" didnt convince me to go out and buy the album (and usually when i hear a new u2 song i go out and take it !!!!!) but after this consider me just right out the shop. really and compleatly charming song. Good job

I usually don't write reviews, but I feel compelled to write one for this song. "Magnificent" is EASILY the greatest song by U2 HANDS DOWN. The song has incredible FORCE and LIFT and is just absolutely astounding! I am possessed by this song. God bless U2. Keep em coming!!!

I have to say it: really a magnificent song! Full U2 style, perfect guitar and atmosphere...I didn't expect such a good song in this album, despite everyone told this was going to be an excellent album...and my first impressions make me fully agree with the expectations!
