However, I'd like to express my dissaproval to the guy that wrote in his review all that thing about this beeing a religious song. I even took the time to read Revelation 21:10, and the only thing both texts have in common is that they talk about a great city. I would even say that the song does in a way even discourage tha practice of faith and religion (remember the last line:"Blessings are not just for the ones who kneel, luckily")My interpretation is that they're saying that God exists, but that he's there for everyone, and that even if you don't pray or kneel, he'll help you just like all the others. Oh, I've wanted to say that for so long. I don't have words to describe this song. Great, wonderful, incredible...they all fall short. City of Blinding Lights, although it does remind you of "Streets", is very different in many senses. I like this one better. (But then again, that's just me!) I like the fact that it speaks about innocence - hehe, I love it when songs speak about innocence. It's just that not everyone knows how to express it. U2 do. The lyrics are very touching.
