Some of you 'Metal Heads' are as just as bad as the 'close minded christians' you are slating. I'm a Christian, I believe in God creating man, I believe in man turning away from God and I believe in Jesus dying to bring us back to Him. I also love my metal though (Trivium included) and, although I wouldn't write a song like this myself, I can see that what he is saying isn't satanic. And anyway, what's wrong with christian music?! Extol are freakin' immense, so are Still Remains, Norma Jean, Underoath, Mortal Treason - it's not all Hillsongs and Jeremy Camp (although I like them aswell). So why don't you think first before you start stereotyping and making claims that 'GOD DOESN'T EXIST'. If you're going to rip into a Christian because they don't understand metal, make sure you know what being a Christian's about first because most of you haters obviously don't.

Im a full-on Christian here, like at Bible College and everything!! lol. and i have to say that Trivium freakin rock!! like i dont see why just cos ur a christian your music should be limited to 'christian music' i listen to everything for 2pac ro marilyn manson with massive trance inbetween!! lol. Tho like metal is at the forefont of my music collection atm!! So back to this song - it got me bck into metal, i dont care waht the lyrics say its an immense song!!

This song is brilliant, to me it is one of those songs that just gets you head banging, i agree that christians should not judge our music because we don't judge theirs, but if you are starting to judge ours i would judge yours and say burn all fucking bibles and the songs because wtf fuck does christianity go on about, but thats my opinion, so to some up i agree with old trivium rules, if you like our music head bang to it go buy tickets to see them live it is 1000 times better, i know i have been to one, and if you don't like it and your chritian go bum jesus

Ok children lets sit down and discuss the fact that there is Catastrophe' called Christianity that believes there is an almighty god up there in the Clouds or where-ever and people will continue to believe that he is real (haha wankers!) but if he was then what has he done for the human race as of recently?
Some might say, hope and well being or some crap like that. Then there is the fact that people die of disease and natural disasters! If he was "real" then did he want people to die like this and if so for what Fucking Reason!
Anyway back to the point in hand about Pull Harder on the Strings of Your Martyr. There is no way that some Christian Twat should say we should burn the CD as it has Satanical lyrics. If so could you please point them out. The lyrics are merely on about hatred for what, us as the human race, are doing to each other. Murdering, exploitation etc not fucking about some anti-religious views. If you don't want to listen to that kinda stuff then go listen to the Backstreet Boys. But still don't come onto a group that have obviously come on the find out the lyrics of the band they like and then say we should burn the CD because its against your beliefs to read such stuff. Seriosly you are a minority in this world as most people have come to realise that GOD DOES NOT EXIST!
So to sum up, don't slate off good music and go jerk off to the Bible!

You can interpret it however you want. I thought the lyrics wer describing a king corrupted by his religion making everyone die for it. Someone needed to stop him. No one said it's referring to christianity or any other religion.
