Even if you dont like their sound, somewhere in your mind youd acknowledge the fact that corey and matt are very skilled guitarists. i first heard them on a stereo on sims 2 =P and i was like, "who are these guys, they are awesome" If you've only heard this song and say you dont like trivium, try listening to stuff off their latest album the crusade, its alot better. When Ascendancy was released, every band was screaming, cause that was popular, and that sold the singles. Stupid screamo. Trivium went up a few notches in my book with the Crusade, exceeding any of their old shit, and with the propper clean singing, they are distancing themselves from the pack all of these other stupid screamo metal bands, and their fans that probably only liked them cause they fitted in, not cause their music, (how anyone could like their old music, I dont know) and becoming their own. People who say it sounds like Metallica don't know shit, yes, Metaliica-ish, but people go on like you can't even tell the difference. You can. Some songs sound more like Motley Crue than metallica, and on a personal note I reckon that The Crusade sounds more like Megadeth than Metallica. Megadeth rock.
