oddest Hip song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/5/09
This song is very odd even for the hip. I think the metaphor is that he needs her to listen to him. It could be about covert operations or more specifically "cleaners". The idea that you can get away with anything without "a knock on the door."
He states he is a total "pro" which sounds like Harvey Kietel in Pulp Fiction. The echoing vocal of "I can guarantee" makes it sound like the singer is trying to talk the woman in the story into doing something wrong, shown when she says "Geez, I don't know."
OR..The line "HIM? here! NOW? no! Makes it sound like the whole thing could have been as if Jesus appeared before her and wanted her faith in him even thought it seemed unbelievable what he asked.
The man in this song wants her trust.
