Though somewhat discordant and overdone, Lehrer brilliantly takes on the "bleeding hearts" who somehow profit off of their earnestness, if only to score with chicks. Amazing how true this song rings today as high-profile entertainers take up the mighty cause (and collect a few bucks (or dedicated fans) besides.
