My mom is over there serving for what she believes in and of course being who she is I believe that it's the best place for her to be right now. I love her with all my heart and I'm gald she's going what she feels is right. She left the day after my high school graduation, and it's was the hardest thing to do, just stand there while her plane just took off with her for a year. I miss her so much and I hope she comes home safely.

this song is true,deep,and respected. i love every word of it. it is very inspirational to me. i know i have a couple of years, but i can't wait to go back to parris island for training to then soon fight for my country. people may knock your ideas,doubt you,not support you,and not have any respect for what you want to do...but just stick it out,and stay strong like any other american soldier would or just like myself. 15,female, wants...no,GOING to join the United States Marine Corps, but i have no support, im doing it for myself, and the country, but also to prove to others i can do whatever i want! all you stay strong,try hard,and never quit. god bless.

This song is just a reminder of everyone that has served as soldiers. My Boyfriend graduated basic in April and unfortunately i couldnt attend his grad. But i am proud of him for becoming a U.S. soldier. Its been four months since i last saw him, and i miss him. This song reminds me of him and all those soldiers who are fighting for our freedom. May God Bless them and their families.

It is a great thing to see all the interest into our American and coalition forces. This song mean alot to me as a soldier. I listened to it each and every day when I was all over Iraq. As a convoy security gunner I learned alot about a different culture and the begging and pleading that I endured from the civilians touched my heart. I feel everyone should have the chances we have in enjoying freedom and if they don't like it then they can have the freedom they like. But lets give them this chance to start off with. So they can say they experienced it. I also want us to remember and never forget those who have gone to serve our countries rath it is US or Canada or any other country. If it wasn't for men that have fought in every war we today as free civilians wouldn't probably be enjoying or freedom.

Thank you to all and yes this song touches my heart for my great friend and battle buddy didn't make it back to this home but now walks beside the greatest being known to man. God

This song is really awesome. I am currently enlisted in the US Army and every time i hear this song it makes me want to go even more. I grad high school this year and leave for boot camp month later. Thank you all for your support. It really helps...

I lost my husband and best friend overseas. He wasnt an american soldier he was a canadian soldier and on the 14th of feb he had a baby boy. he is my hero and when his son is old enough he will know his father was over there as a peace keeper. I pray for all wives and their children whos husbands and fathers are overseas. We are all together and need to stand strong be there for eachother and never back down. i love you all.

I'm getting shipped out to the officer candidate school in the marine corps and it's really motivating to hear and read all these messages and know that there are those who may not support the war but still love our soldiers. My brother is a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marines and I will be too.

my dad went to Iraq on my birthday July 9th 2006 and he came home September of 2007. It is great to have him home. My brother left in February 2008 and he won't be home till next year. I have listened to this song when my dad was gone and I will listen to this song while my brother is gone also. It is my favorite.

I guess if found the website on accident because all i was looking for was to find the lyrics to one of my favorite songs but maybe i didn't find this sight on accident maybe i was destend to find it by the way my name is candace and my father and gradfather were in the army my grandfather was in war world ll and everyday i think what if my dad was still in the army (I'm only 12) and i know this girl named trinity and her dad is in the army and i fell so sorry for her but i just wanted to say that i am so proud of them even if they don't know me and they will be in my prayer

When my brother was killed in Iraq, we were devistated. We created a slide show movie for the wake, we wanted songs that really defined him. Sitting around thinking, and with a loss of ideas, this song came on the radio. It was like a sign, thank you for this beatiful song, I don't think anyone could have said it better. It is like you took the thoughts right out of the soldiers mind. Wonderful job.

my uncle has been in the army since my aunt and him got married in 2000...he hasn't been home for his 2nd or 3d childs birth but i have been able to be there for my aunt when my uncle wasn't able to...but he's been serving all that time...he's been in Iraq since 2000 and we have been cheering him on ever since...this past July he finally came home for good...but hasn't been able to see his family much because of his job...right now he is in queens, new york while his wife is in Salsbury Center, New York....so i understand how everyone feels but i do feel bad whenever i hear the news of someone dieing over seas...or even when someone comes home...but for thos of you who are over there...GOD BLESS YOU...and for those of you that are home for good or just home for a while...GOD BLESS YOU....thank you everyone who serves our country....
