about The American Soldier song | Reviewer: John | 11/23/07
This is a great song,
I respect the U.S. military, they do sacrifice alot; but it needs to be done for Jesus Christ glory and it is by the power of the Holy Spirit we can go there and be protected and be successful in Iraq.
Hope be blessed

I love this song. Everytime I hear it I cry because my brother is an American Soldier ans this is what he believes. I love my brother...he has already served 1 tour over seas, I don't want to see him serve another.

This song shows how true it is that soldiers can be pulled away at any time. It shows that all of us have a job to do no matter what the price to keep America free. It's hard to listen to this song and not get a tear in your eye not only because of the loss of American Soldiers but in the joy that we have people willing to fight for our freedom. This song also shows soldiers like me that people do care that we are over seas dieing for our country and the citizen that live here. We do what we do for our country, but not just for our country we do it to show that no matter what our beliefs we all fight for one cause and that is to be free. I'm proud to be an American and I'm proud to be an AMERICAN SOLDIER.

I first heard this song while I was serving my time in Kuwait. Being a Petty Officer and working along side with the Army, I thought, this song belonged to me as well as everyone else who has served. It brings a lump to my throat everytime I hear it. The words are so meaningful.

It was this song that he had running through his head when he struggled to survive in those mountains of Afghanistan with the Taliban hunting him down. He did, even while severely wounded, in the end, kill the all the Taliban scouts sent out to kill him. Many thanks to Toby Keith for giving support to our brave warriors on the field of battle.
Keep Marcus in your prayers, and don't forget the sacrifice of these brave special ops warriors:
