------ performed by Three Days Grace
who would have guessed it? | Reviewer: Raven | 8/12/08
This song was given to me by a friend of mine-we both have sporadically turbulent lives, though they are very good materially-and though I wish I could say otherwise, once or twice I've feared for her life though I know in reality she would not do anything stupid. That notwithstanding, I play this song whenever I get worried about her again, which calms me down. And I think this song kind of makes her brighten up a bit. Thanks, Three Days 0Grace.

Heartache and Music | Reviewer: Leo | 5/27/08
Music can either remind you of heartache, or relieve some of it from your soul. Once more I write about a song, this time not sad because of my own life, but happy for myself because I finally learned to take hold and make it mine.
Today I am happy for myself, but sad for others. This song was a definition for a relationship I had, I was the rock sacrificing everything to keep them afloat, yet they still wanted more. They wanted me to leave everything behind to help them, my friends my family, and when I did it still wasn't enough, they still wanted to leave, to be dead...
Up until today I have been utterly depressed for some unknown reason, and last night my friends had some distresses. I began working to calm them, while pushing my own sorrow away to hide it for later, but another friend, who knew of my own depression woke me up to my own needs, and helped me to understand what I needed to do. No, I'm not there yet, but I can see what needs to be done now.
This song helped me realize the things I have come to see, and it helped me sort through my memories. This song doesn't just cause the remembering of memories, it also helps to show you the hope you do have in those memories. That is what makes this song great.

suicide | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/7/08
big head asks how people in a highly developed society can commit suicide. in a highly developed society like ours in america or 3dgs homeland of canada the capitalist commercial culture that results from development will lead people to beleive even though they are actually pretty lucky in most cases that they are still missing something in our lives. it should also be said that in developed societies differences in people occur which results in alienation of many when we are told through the media what is cool and what is not. this results in stress among the alienated which leads to suicide. also there are more careers in our society than a less developed one which leads our society to becoming career oriented putting pressure on those who dont know what to do with their lives. understand that just because the society you live in is an advanced one doesnt mean that that very society wont be a suicide machine that millions of people become the cogs in. three days grace doesnt make it political or socially conscious but they understand that its still easy to feel your life sucks even when youre probably very lucky. thats the message of the song dont take things for granted.
The name of the band | Reviewer: Christine Vieira | 3/26/08
I just came across the discovery of the name the band chose for their band. It's beautiful. And if you understand how they chose that, you can easily understand the meanings of their songs. Think about it.
big head | Reviewer: Steve | 3/25/08
suicide is one of the three leading causes of death in teens today all around the world and espessially in america. it makes you think. its hard to think that many people everyday think about killing themselves when our lives seem to be going swell. open your eyes big head
reason to hope | Reviewer: ben | 3/24/08
i wasnt a huge fan of three days grace before i heard this song but now that its getting heavy airplay i hear it alot and it gets better with every listen. i never would have thought it was them i thought it was hinder or stone sour this is the complete opposite of what id expect from 3dg and im blown away. the music scene at the moment isnt great but three days grace has given me reason to hope. i havent even touched on how much i can relate to this song ive wanted to die so many times and life has always seemed so overwhelming but i hold on and stay positive and try to to make things better. its never too late.
