I had heard the orginal from "Who's Missing" then on the extended "Live At Leeds". But upon listing again to the original again after many reps of LAL, I was absolutely f**** blown away to realize Keith's drums nail the opening by rote. I saw JE with an incarnation of his own band when the sound kept going out in a small Cleveland club because the sound was probably as loud as the Who kept it. Yeah, they're still putting them down in R&R Heaven!

The song itself is like an explosive and destructive force between the two worlds and The Who is right in the center of it! I mean Jesus ****ing Christ, do you hear the bass on that thing!? Holy christ, now that is the bassline from hell!
To Mr. John Entwistle, you better be playing that with Keith up in Heaven!
OMG!!! | Reviewer: Mina | 12/8/08
This song is so awesome! Roger's soulful voice, Pete's thick power chords, John's heavy bass, and most of all Keith's manic drums tying it all together make this song an "Extreme R&B" masterpiece. Long live The Who!

live at leeds, heaven and hell = explosive. pure magic. every musician in the band is a machine. entwhistle has mind blowing bass in this song. as well as young man blues. indescribable.
Heaven and hell listen to it | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/5/07
whooo who
sometimes i just sing it to my self when ive been a bad boy,
Ive only heard it from live in leads but serously LIVE AT LEEDS IS almost like heaven and hell when you listen to it . Youve got led zep type rock good melodies and a cruel edge to it all and the truth and evil is almost there in the lyrics andthe fuckin chunky guitar: from townsend. Ive heard lots oft people say rhis is one of the best albums ever and the I agree.
If you ant got this
shush
Enjoy
