The Who Fucken Rocks | Reviewer: Joe | 7/9/2007
Pete, Roger, John and Kieth. Supposedly Pete tried to work thier persona into the 4 faceted James Micheal Cooper, but abandoned it. I Listen to Quadropfenia every day here at work - have done so for the last 12 years. (Some kinda record?)and it gets better and better! Thank God for the Who!

Dr. Jimmy and Mr. Jim | Reviewer: Xander | 5/20/2007
This song is one of the cleverest on the album Quadrophenia. The story of the album is about a Mod with an extreme case of schizophrenia - Quadrophenia, and this song is about how he reacts to Gin.
The clever part is in the chorus "Dr Jimmy and Mr Jim" This is an obvious connection with Dr Jeckil and Mr Hyde (also about schizophrenia) but it gest more interesting. John previously wrote a song called Dr Jekil and Mr Hyde, and this song includes Johns theme, so it's very clever
Well written throughout, and somehow takes up 8 minutes without ridiculously long spells of instrumentals, and the repetion of the theme (Is It Me...) and chorus (Dr Jimmy and Mr Jim...) is kept to a minimum, but still kept memorable.
One of the most advanced songs on the album, it also moulds slowly into the instumental "The Rock" after a hosrt space of "Love Reign O'er Me" sinthesisers.
