I thought it sounded amazing. Some time later, my dad explained how they made the sound with the sinthesizer. It was many years later, after I had watched the Simpsons episode with "The Who", and around the time I had gotten Itunes. I read on Wikipedia that the intro song for CSI:NY was Baba O'Riley. At the time, I hadn't seen CSI:NY yet. I go on to Itunes and listen to Baba O'Riley. One second in, I'm filled with memories. "Holy crap! This song's by the who?". Awhile later I replaced the Itunes version with the one from "Who's next". I swear, I can listen to this song forever. I take the album to school to play in art class. Within a few seconds, I'm hearing "Oh, I love this song!" from at least 10 people. To make a long story short; This is the best song ever written, from the synthesizer at the start, to the violin at the end, you have to listen to this song!
