The Reviews about Baba O'Riley (page 8/ 8)
------ performed by The Who

The Who - masters of R&B | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/10/2006
A timeless classic, Baba O'Riley will never die. It is like a symphony in its buildup and like a stadium concert when Daltry screams: "Sally take my hand." Rock N' Roll was made better because of this amazing piece of music.

Really catchy | Reviewer: Meygan Alexis Reyes | 8/27/2006

the rock song of all time | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/3/2005

I heard this song as a young child & was ecstatic when I finally found it again. It becomes part of your heart, part of your soul.

wow this song rocks | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/13/2005

yes damn it, i'm italian fan of CSI, so i was fascinated by the intro song of CSI:NY.
i discovered a fantastic song and the WHO. the question: where i was before? (yes i wasnt born at their time). this rocks! they have a lot to teach to all so called rock band! the lyrics is similar to the Bruce Springsteens one, a little story in a song, with a powerful music. They are great! i'll go catching the album "who's next" thanks for other rewiews!

The Who and Testosterone | Reviewer: Luke Spyropoulos | 7/26/2005

There is something unapologetically masculine about the Who. From Pictures of Lily (about masturbation,) to You better You Bet with its line ''you welcome me with open arms and open legs, ''to I'm a Boy (about a boy forced to wear dresses by his Ma) there is nothing they're too squemish to
    say about masculinity.

I came across them at the age of 22 thanks to author Nick Hornby who wrote the novel and film ''Fever Pitch'' about his devotion to Arsenal Football Club. The centrepiece track was Baba O'Riley which sends testosterone liberally coursing through the system, and, like Won't Get Fooled Again, is from Arsenal's annus mirabilis 1971. The way the intro and finale are weaved into film scenes from the main charactar's teens and present accurately encapsulates football's tribal machismo and, perhaps, it's occasional consequences too. (I DON'T mean to infer anything about the Hillsborough Disaster here!)

Nice one Nick! Nice one Pete, Roger, Keith, and John!

    Baba O'Riley is The Best | Reviewer: J.D. Cherund | 3/21/2005

This song is GREAT. It is great watching all the CSI shows with each of them starting off with The Who songs, especially CSI: NY which plays Baba O'Riley. It will always be a favorite oldie. One of the BEST.

    Just beautiful... | Reviewer: Liz | 11/25/2004

This song is awesome. Back from the days when rock was just rock and thats all it needed to be, the who was above all the rest, and this is just one of there best songs. Anyone who likes the true classics of rock should definatly own this album.

One of the best songs I have ever heard | Reviewer: Jon M | 11/19/2004

I have always loved this song, first finding it in my dads record collection. It is such a powerful piece of music, it almost brings a tear to my eye, still after about 50 listens, (You know that shiver you get in your spine when you really love a song). The whole Who's Next? album is GOLD. If you don't have it, you are missing out!

This Song Rocks | Reviewer: Ace Wilcox | 8/23/2004

I beleive that this song will never get old and should always be played with alot of Base, and alot of volume SO turn op the volume and rock on with The Who.
