The verve pipe had a girl that they sort of passed along in the group and used her until she killed herself My Input | Reviewer: Karen | 8/20/07 I know this song is about the girlfriend havin the abortion and all that..but it can mean so much more if you use it as a metaphore. my best friend and i were best friends from 4th grade until freshman year, we had a fallout over a boy and we had a "best friend fight" well then she got into a car accident and died before we could make ammends, and this song makes me think so much and I think about her all the time when I hear this song. I actually typed it up and put it on her grave as my "apology"...it can mean whatever you want it to. ------- About the sone the freshmen performed by The Verve Pipe | Reviewer: Laura | 8/9/07 When it says "Stop a babies breath and a shoe full of rice" I thought it had something to do with a wedding because babies breath is a flower used often in rose bouquets and grooms often have rice in their shoes after their wedding.
