Im Sure This Is One Of The First Songs Who Ripped My Heart Out, Always The Same Song, Always The Same Lyrics Always The Same Bands On Tv.. and The Best Songs, Like This Is, Everyone Forgot....

I Agree With ''Heart Warming''

Cause It's A Bittersweet Symphony..

Greatest Song Ever | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/11/07

Just think about this: Chris Martin from Coldplay called it "the best song ever written". This song belongs to that rare group of songs that you don't need to know the lyrics to understand what it's saying. I'm Argentinian and i first listened to it when i was 8 years old and ignored english at all. In spite of my age, i still knew this song was touching and i felt it like an emotional thing. I mean, the lyrics can represent you when you are feeling happy or sad as well. I CANT EXPRESS IT IN WORDS, THIS IS ASOWOME ( or whatever it's spelt) ajaja

Heart Warming | Reviewer: dean | 10/10/07

Richard Ashcroft's song writing and his melodic singing makes this song very gratifying to listen. It will forever stick with anyone who's heard the tune from start to finish. Definitely one of the best songs ever. Not to mention the band itself, I doubt this song would get much recognition without it's key players in the band.

Cuz it's a Bittersweet Symphony...

Connecting to the World | Reviewer: wildthing4227@aol.com | 2/28/07

This is a debatable opinion, but I do believe that we may be looking at the best song ever written, not so far as lyrical value, but more as an emotion projector for our entire race. Every person can relate to this song at some time in life, feeling like it really is a mixed bag, or a "bittersweet symphony" type of life. This song expresses simply the basis for human emotion about life in general. This band should be acclaimed for this tremendous piece.

A Modern-Day Gem! | Reviewer: Steve | 9/11/06

This is a song that has so much going for it, from the moment it sneaks up on you with a marvelous, orchestral-sounding intro laced with evocative, soaring violins until it fades out with a very passionate vocal chrorus that can de taken as the viewpoint of someone in the depths of lonliness, drug addictions, impoverishment and the always perilous, tenuous relationship scene of the age group and demographic toawrd this song seems meant to reach. This is not even getting to the marvelous rhythm, arrangements, lyrics and vocal styles which all mesh into a piece of absolute musical magic which, in spite of all these attributes, comes across unpretentious, avoiding the overdoing tendency to be, say or play something larger than it only is-a touching song, well thought out and well played, designed to make people stop in their tracks and just...relate! The Verve have struck a vital chord with a song which makes all the right points on all the right issues, including frustration and, basically, the "modern blues" one Steve Winwood referred to in his "Put on your Dancing Shoes," without even seeming to try to. Rare, gripping, and in a class by itself musically, lyrically and culturally.

Olympics | Reviewer: jimswim655@aol.com | 8/29/06

Does anyone else remember that ABC used this as the theme for the Winter Olympics? It was either Nagano, Japan or Salt Lake City. Anyway the trailer had all these great images of the olympians kicking ass! One especially good shot of Dan Jansen (again I think) speed skating.

Amazing score! | Reviewer: Raven For Kyth | 12/21/05

This song is deeply passionate and unbelieveable! I will forever love this song for it will forever remind me of someone special and of times gone by for which I long so.
