I have heard this song several times. Its really a a good song. When you know a little more about the band you can see how it relates. I was rereading the beging part where he speaks it and i got more out of it when i actually READ into it. Its pretty metoforical. *thumbs up*

i agree wit greg | Reviewer: jake | 12/28/07

look nick it was a misunderstanding... there r 2 gregs(Greg and Greg L.) and the 2nd one thought they were talking about him( if u read the other comment the 1st greg left) u would know but instead of talking about it like an adult u start pointing the finger so who's childish now nick... i'll let u ponder over wat u said... and get ur facts straight next time.. and stop acting like u know wat u r talking about cuz obvously u didnt... wat an idiot...

great song but who cares? | Reviewer: Dave | 12/26/07

This song is pretty cool (apart from the intro) its just a song people stop living your lives by your music because for 99% of u it will get u nowhere thats my advice to the wankers spilling out their life storys in the space for commenting the song.

great song though it would be heaps better with a much shorter and much less suicidal intro lol

You're all fakes | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/9/07

Wow, some people here are lamely melodramatic.

Anyways... this song says a lot about how teenagers act these days. Everything they do is fake and they seem afraid to be themselves.
That being said, I AM a teenager.

I love The Used
But sometimes they get a bit too emo for me.

Emotions and truth | Reviewer: Brigette | 12/8/07

this is one of the awumest songs ever.and if people carnt respect the emotion and passion put into it keep it to ur self. we dont go around dissing ur crap ,music, with its computer generated beats and scyned voices.

anyway i luv the intro. possible my fav intro ever.

Best Song Ever! | Reviewer: Tevesh | 11/15/07

As soon as I heard this song, The Used became my favorite band. I used to be a huge rap fan, but this made me rise to the world of Rock, Goth, Emo, and Metal. I always want to sing that in the middle of my school, just to hear everybody react to the fact that they don't know me.

I'm A Fake | Reviewer: Butterfly | 11/12/07

It's been said before, but this song holds alot of personal feeling in it. It's something I can relate to, and I go months of listening to this song over and over again on my iPod. It used to be my cutting song, then it was my anti-cutting song. Now it's my creativity song. I'm A Fake is my timeline, and it makes me wonder why people insist on insulting things they don't like. If you don't like the song, why did you search for the lyrics? Is it out of revenge because someone trashed your favorite music? Two wrongs don't make a right. And how hypocritical is it of you, Greg, to talk about the profanity of this song and go on to say even more hideous profanities. Any way, this is for all those out there who have had problems and got over them with this song.

Fucking amazing. | Reviewer: Paige | 11/11/07

What an amazing song. The Used are truly a very special band who put their all into their lyrics. I relate to this so fucking much and it's a heck of a tune.

hi! | Reviewer: Carmen | 11/3/07

well I just have to say that that song relates directly to how American teens are, I mean, In other parts of the world the desesperation and the "drama" that some american kids say to live is just stupid. You guys maybe should judge your culture...

comment on Greg L. | Reviewer: ap0calypse | 11/3/07

hmm... try to answer with a little more repect the next time please :s
if you can't relate to this song, you can just say that... if anyone responds to that, even if the respond insults you, you don't have to write a comment about raping, incest or stuff... that sounds like you are having problems yourself (I don't say you have...)
This song is really nice, I can't relate to it, but I can see how other people do... the way they sing this is very powerfull.

Regards to Greg | Reviewer: Nick | 11/2/07

Im far from "emo," but how old are you man? You talk to these people like you know about them. Music is music. If you despise the used so much why in the hell are you even on this website. you have no relation to this song then do NOT put in any feedback. Take your comments of disrespect of other peoples feelings and shove them back into your fingers and off of the keyboard. go listen to something that you are passionate about libirachi. Leave these people and our music out of your meaningless existence you are calling a life. THE USED is an INCREDIBLE band and they put out the truth of many people in this world, old and young, if you can not relate than you can not, but do not show any kind of emotion to put out an input an go on about your life and the music that relates to you. Not everyone is like you GREG. And by you talking about someone through an internet based website shows your true colors, you are childish.

i really can relate to this i have been through alot and i agree with most people on here but the thing is there was no need for greg l to put things about someones mum n dad thats sad grow up! what r u 5? if u dont like it then dont read the lyrics or listen to it tbh we like it we will review gud comments if u dnt like it then dnt bother and fuck off this music has meaning unlike most songs ive heard lately if songs dont have real meaning in life then whats the point haha also pretty handsome awkward is another wikid song of theirs WOO! love it

Wow. | Reviewer: Alessandra. | 10/28/07

Seriously, guys. You use a lyrics page to post your arguments. If he feels the need to fucking put how he feels about a song, fucking let him. You're just as bad as him, judging your music and shit. Just because he doesn't like something you like. And he needs to stop talking about rape and shit. That's pathetic.
I do like this song, it does say a lot about a bunch of people's lives. Especially mine. So, enjoy the music and stop whining.
Do not take what I say to heart. <3;
Ciao.

YAY! been tryna figure out these lyrics for ages, now i know what they're saying in the background!

a song that sums it up. | Reviewer: Sydney | 10/19/07

I really love this song it shows the reality and desperation and self loathing at what you do and who you are and how you deal with it all. Even when you're getting better you still feel like you're faking it. I've been there and I really relate.

oh and Greg, who the hell do you think you are?? I mean what gives you the right to descide what is worthy music, do you make ablbums? are you a star? no. No one has ever heard of you or cares what you hacve to say about it. the line 'would you be my thousand fucks' that you mocked says 1000X more than your pitiful review. Clearly you have no perception of depth and cant see meaning unless it hits you in the face. Some people can read between the lines and interpret things, you should try it. Thankyou.
