IVE LOOKED AND LOOKED ON THE INTERNET TO SEE WHAT HAD HAPPEN TO THEM BUT I CANT SEEM TO FIGURE THAT OUT, ARE THEY DIED NOW ARE THEY STILL LIVING AND JUST HAVE NO COMMUNICATION WITH THEM OR WHAT I WANNA KNOW SOMETHING!

This bio is more or less just a rehash of everything that happened in the mini series and because of that some of it isn't true. P. Williams was not found dead in his car, he was found dead in an alley and even though was ruled a Suicide, his family contests this and says it was homicide. He was found face down with a gunshot to the left temple yet he supposedly did this with his right hand even tho a bottle and the gun were both on his right side.

I grew up Listening to the Motown sound, and the Temps were
and still are my favorite, they brought people together, it wasn't about
race, but the sounds of the times, amid the triumphs and tragedies, they brought joy to their listeners, it's amazing how
they were able to carry on as professionals inspite of their personal issues
and we never saw that, we just saw and heard a group
of talented and dedicated men, that loved what they did
and I for one feel privileged to have grown up in their era.

loved the bio on the temptations would love to knw what happened to their families.like otis wife,paul kids&wife melvin did he ever get married or have kids? you the rest of the story.

You can get a compilation of most of their tunes on CD. Jasira missed her opportunity to see & hear the best R&B group that Barry had. The last time I looked it up & there were still 2 Temps still alive & Otis is definately one of them. I saw the group in concert & I will never forget it. I hope they knew just how much joy their music gave to all of us. My husband sang "MY GIRL" to me when we were dating. I am still looking for the book that Otis wrote that the movie was made from. Otis & Smokey recently taught the tunes & some of the "MOVES" to a group from Australia. Go figure! They do a good job but no one does it like the TEMPTING TEMPTATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every since I was A preteen still is I love the temptations I hear them everyday and every night. I have always wanted to go the temptations concert so im going to try to save up some money and go to one of there concerts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

i grew up with the temptations in the 60,s ever thing that went on with them came through the great vine hustlers and players had all the news from la as they would come to salt lake city i would talk to them aboutwhat was going on in music ,ther was all was plenty of temtaion news ,the best ever group---bar none

I never in my life heard a more beautiful selections of songs that was in their CD/Album "For Lovers Only"

Growing up in the 60s I loved The Temptations back then and as an amateur piano player, all of my music lessons were the classic songs of the 40s.

The Temptations provided me with the best of both worlds with that beautiful collection of songs.

My only regret is that I have just recently learned of this cd/album and my wife who deceased in Nov 2009 would have loved this cd so very much because like me, she loved both the songs of the 60s and the 40s because she used to listen to the music that her parents played.

The Temptations will never die if they continue to produce such quality music even though they only have one of the original members in the group.

Much of the public sector isn't aware that the Temptations major hits were led by JIMMY RUFFIN.He led on:MY GIRL, MY BABY, IT'S GROWING, SAY YOU, SINCE I LOST MY BABY, YOU'LL LOSE A PRECIOUS LOVE, and some other suspects.In order that the public never, at any time, was aware of this, PHILLIPPI WYNNE (who later, 1971, became lead singer for the SPINNERS) was "hired" to record songs (parallels) using Jimmy Ruffin's name. The voice that the public THOUGHT to be Jimmy Ruffin's was actually PHILLIPPI WYNNE'S, starting in 1965 when Mr. Wynne overlaid HIS voice on Mr. Jimmy Ruffin's hit "AS LONG AS THERE IS L-O-V-E, LOVE AND T-I-M-E, TIME" and recorded "WHAT BECOMES OF THE BROKENHEARTED?", using Mr. Jimmy Ruffin's name, as well as "I'VE PASSED THIS WAY BEFORE". Take a listen with a GOOD system. "MIGHTY LOVE", "LOVE DON'T LOVE NOBODY", and "IT TAKES A FOOL" (these were recorded AFTER Mr. Wynne joined The Spinners) exemplify Mr. Wynne's voice. You'll recognize it as the voice you thought to be Jimmy Ruffin's. Both David and Jimmy sang with THE TEMPTATIONS.

back in 1995 and 1996, i met the love of my life. we always use to have big friendly gatherings and cook outs with friends. my love and i would dance to the temptations and had a wonderfull time. the temptations put a lot of love and feeling into our relation ship. i never knew how wonderful they really were and still are. i have just recently down loaded "my lady soul" that put all the meening in the world to our life. i wish they were all still around so i could tell them thank you so very much for their music. they are legends-punkin

HI, i've always loved songs from the 60s but after watching the movie, temptations again a few months ago, i realised that they were and still are the best song group the world ever produced,pity i was'nt born then, it's sad they were plagued with so many tragedies. I would love to have all thier music cos there can never be anything better than music by the TEMPTATIONS.

I am just finding out about this wonderful group about Three months ago. I was watching the movie temptations and Ilooked at that movie every night untill school started back. My son is now sing I got sunshine on a cloudy at church. I fell in love with Melvin(blue) and oh I wish I had that song because I do miss them all. David, Eddie, Melvin. and Leon Robinson played the h-ll out of david.I read everything I can find about the Temptations . I found out Otis is the only original Temp alive ,God bless you I loaned my tape and now it's broke and my heart is to.

well ever since i saw the temptations movie, i loved them. i love all there songs, but me and my brothers favourite is my girl. i really loved david ruffin, even though he annoyed me in the movie. i am now doing an assignment, for people fighting for making poverty history. do you think that 'Ball of Confusion & Power' is a good song to do. My fav member is Blue!!

man they are the bomb man i didnt kno who they were or that they had sung most of there song'sz until i watched their miniserie'sz on dvd and man i love them heap'sz aye they r tha bomb them and bone thugs n harmony shoud team up man they both got great harmonie'sz hope 2 see that happen in future.
