not so charmed man | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/19/09
i never actually cared to look for an actual interpretation of the lyrics. but it seems to me that the 'charming man' appears patronising. it seems like there is a difference in class between the two. from experience the upper classes have been known to be a little condescending in this situation. whatever interpretation you have, it works may it be positive for your husband or negative for somebody else.
Irony. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/5/09
Not writing any sort of analysis to the song in question ...
I'm just amused because this song makes me think of one person only. Someone with whom I passionately connected over the course of 8 days, someone I will probably never see again ... at least for many years.
It's just ironic because his name is Keith, a name that another reviewer mentioned, ha. I guess we all have our charming men ...
one of the best songs ever | Reviewer: danko | 9/19/07
another spectacular performance by Morrisey, words are too washed out to describe the quality!
Insanity | Reviewer: dre | 9/14/07
This song is insane!! I was on a hillside, flat tire in hand, and a charming man indeed saved me. Morrissey- I feel you! After that, I'm lost in a world of wonderous emotion. I write this with the only other person who can understand me. Keith. Are there others out there like us who feel what we feel?
