Half A Person reminds me of a girl I had no choice but to leave behind.. After years of trying to save her, I was forced to leave her to her fate of heroine abuse. We met when we were in our early teens. We lived in the same apartment complex. At the time she was mostly "clumsy and shy", albeit a little strange... I suppose she was just doomed from the start. Her home life and the local community had traumatized her beyond hope... Can't say I didn't have my own struggles at the time, but I managed to pull through... I wish I could have said the same for her... Despite the subtle humourus undertones of the song, it has way of deeply touching me. The girl is not forgotten, and neither is this great work of art.
