when i read the perks of being a wallflower,
i cried. i was (and still am) a big fan of the smiths and morrissey before i even read it, and that made me relate to the story even more and
it increased it's emotional value to me.
i can honestly relate to this song. i want this song for my funeral.

i heard from The Perks Of Being a Wallflower of this song and still think the latter is amazing, as well as the book.
Amazing | Reviewer: Rebecca | 10/1/07
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is pretty much my all time most favorite book. I think that the book is a pretty good reflection of the song. It is one of those songs that makes you get chills and that you just absolutely must listen to over and over again no matter how much you just want to fall asleep (no pun intended). I listen to this song for hours repeatedly until the second i fall asleep. It is a good song to think too, once you really listen to the lyrics. I love the nights when i am coming home from somewhere and i listen to this song and i can just think, about anything really. I am at that stage in my teenage years that i am beginning to really think about life, and this song is one that i think too. I love this song. It makes me happy and sad and all emotions at once. It makes me cry most times and i just cant get over how much i love this song, even with its meaning... or at least what i get out of it. I would say that this song makes me feel infinite... but i dont want to be cliché. I think that every person should be forced to listen to this song.

yeah, i knew about morrisey and smiths before i read the book, so i was extremely excited when i had heard of them in the book,
same thing with RHPS
Cool | Reviewer: Meh | 8/11/07
This song is one of the best written songs ever. Plus, you have to be ignorant to lump people as ''emo'' of the majority who like this song and the book? that is fucking stupid. Its your opinion if you hate the song and the book, but if your so narrow minded to hate it because the damn song and book delves into a wide range of topics and meaning - you must be so shallow and thick in the head.
