it makes me think of a summer fling. Care free with no strings attached, but as the summer dwindles, you realize that what was felt isnt sustainable and can not keep a relationship together. Great song. Great band. Love.

and mercer knows it. This song is about a break up and moving on. We all muster over some BS about the relationship. He is mulling over the relationship the typical way a guy deals... Slowly... The pain of this loss for a guy takes a lot longer. PS They broke up bc they had moved on to a different stage of their lives that they couldnt change together. Happened to me in Jan.
