Alice and wonderland observation | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/17/07

Some of this song is referred to alice and wonderland. Just listen.

So enlist every ounce
Of your bright blood- This is referred to the painting of the red roses and murdering queen

And off with their heads- the queen screams this

Jump from the book- alice and wonderland jumps into the book of fairy tales

You're not obliged to swallow anything you despise- she is pressured into swallowing the substance which makes her smaller and begins her big mess. She also eats the mushroom that makes her bigger.

This is my observation on the lyrics. But I think it's their music that means the most.

guard offend? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/26/07

i think its just fend. not offend. the guard didnt offend. i think its fend. it makes more sense. because its about someone who was bullied...or teased or something.

animal | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/2/07

considering the rest of the animal imagery in the song it definitely makes sense that it is 'hooves' and 'hook'.

it is hooves | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/14/07

it is written in the lyrics book of wincing the night away that it is: "put your self in my new hooves" even thoguh it definetly sounds like shoes

I don't think book is correct | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/8/07

"Jump from a book" wouldn't even make sense with the next line "You're not obliged to swallow anything you despise", it is definitely "Jump from the hook", i.e. A fish swallowing a lure, then spitting it out when it realizes the reality of the situation it is in.

two revisions | Reviewer: Kelit | 4/23/07

"jump from the hook" should be "jump from a book"

"just put yourself in my new hooves" should be "just put yourself in my new shoes"
