This record is somewhat famous in the Beatles' story since John Lennon & Paul McCartney sing back-up vocals. It's unfortunate that it's such a mess. The mix is muddy, the songwriting amatuerish, and the lyric near abysmal. It charted poorly in the UK (it came out as Jagger & Richards were going through the infamous 1967 drug trial) and charted not at all in the US.
That said, this record is so quirky that I like having an inexplicable appeal. Go figure...
