I can feel the sadness within it and sometimes it is like looking in a mirror. I can find myself within this song because I am a tormented spirit as well. I am hunted by xians that will never understand my mind because I describe myself like this:"I am what I am!" and I hold my head high all the time. And they call me Lucifer's Angel indeed. I am exactly like the song says. I don't really feel the joy of the life, but I am not dead so I am not dead, not alive. I am a goth and I am asking myself what you people have against them? And Lucifer is the Light Bearer, The Shining Star of The Morning, I don't understand why would anyone hate Him? Anyway when I listen this song and songs like this it makes me feel better. Seems Finland has some good talent emerging finally.. HIM, 69 Eyes, Rasmus and Negative. Dont knock a band until you listen to half of the songs in an album. Just because they wear black (which for the most part all bands wear right now -its a trend) doesnt mean they're goth, could be they like the color. Why I came to love The Rasmus | Reviewer: William Rowley | 3/17/07 The reason I became to love the Rasmus was because one day my brother was watching their music video for 'In the shadows' and I just loved it and I totally wanted to know who they were and what else they had written. But in my prep school everyone just said they were goths which is completely and utterly wrong to judge them to what they were because they aren't they just choose to wear black and it is wrong to judge people by what they wear. Plus I now can't stop listening to them because they are my all time favorite band and I love them. Their lyrics just touched my heart and after listening to this song I just now know that they are wrongly judged by what they sing which is wrong because they have their reasons to sing what they sing and I personally have never felt so passionate for a band. So all of you out there who hate The Rasmus just listen to their lyrics and read between the lines and learn that first impressions aren't what they seem.
