HOW HAS THIS SONG NEVER BEEN COMMENTED ON WHAT IS LIFE | Reviewer: Nicki | 8/6/10

This is one of my ultimate favorite songs ever. It's so beautiful I can't even describe it, it just says so much. I know it's intended to talk about "coming home," I think I heard John say somewhere, I could be wrong, from tour I'm assuming, but for me it just completely embodies the entire high school experience. I'm going to be a senior in the fall, and this song is just basically this summer. "Our days are numbered, and we know we're not gettin' younger But it's nights like these that make you not really care." Anyone who's been a teenager will most likely know what this is like. You know you're growing up, and you know things are going to change, but sometimes you just have those moments where you're with all of your friends, just doing crazy stuff and having fun, and everything just goes away for a while, you have "those nights" where you don't care about anything else except what you're doing, you don't think about the future, which is a hard thing when you're approaching the end of high school. "We all have been degraded We all will be the greatest." We all have had our share of hard times, being made fun of, or anything tough, but we'll all rise above it and be better people and live a great life because of it.
