Pure Class | Reviewer: mise | 5/11/07

This is the stuff dreams are made of. It has captured
the minds of many people, who can get past all the drugs controversy andlisten to The Libertines tunes.

Stop Giving It all Pete | Reviewer: Rhys | 5/2/07

I hate it when people give pete all the credit for songs when on many off the libertines songs they were co-written by carl barat, don'y get me wrong i love pete but he shouldn't get all thge praise just because he's in the public eye more. i do admit lyrics pete writes on his own are better than carls but carls songs sound a hell of a loot better than petes simply because he's a fantastic guitarist anyway my point is when they are together the lyrics are well written and the songs sound great

oh please indeed | Reviewer: mattykoff | 2/9/07

this song is a prime example of libertine genius, jade, you're wrong, although this song is indeed about the relationship between pete and the rest of the band, in particular carl its a song about forgiveness, so get off slagging him and appreciate him for his genius. appreciate it for what it is, a brilliant piece of music with heart felt lyrics. nuff said

Oh Please | Reviewer: Jade | 1/24/06

Anybody who thinks these lyrics are written by Pete is a git who probably doesn't even know who the Libertines are (were?). If you know anything about the Libertines, you would see that this song could probably be called 'Gee Pete, what-ever became of us?' aswell. Maybe the last reviewer should have checked out the actual lyrics before ranting on about their brilliance.
I adore the Libertines! All hail!

Woah. | Reviewer: Al | 10/30/05

I've always been a big fan of the Libertines. When i heard this on their 2nd album, i took an instant liking to it. Nobody can write lyrics like Pete Doherty and the the drum beat is great.

What became of the likely lads song? | Reviewer: Angie | 4/1/05

Thios song is a miracle of modern music. Within its playing time, you will be inspired, you'll write poetry, songs, novels, declare your love for your girl/boyfriend. It will and has the power to change your life. This song-it is a work of art, show me michelangelo's David and I'll think it's alrioght, plug me into this song and I'll go mad, spouting lists of words that descirbe it. There are thousands of words that mean 'good' and they all apply to this one song. The Libertines have been getting thier fair share of press recently thanks to that cavorting model Miss Moss, but really does anyone know what they really acomploshed? This song is better and shorter than Bohemian Rhapsody, and has all the freshness and brilliance of The Beatles when they first started. Carl Barat and Pete Doherty founded the saviour of British Music. Without them would this movement of Brit Rockers be happening-"No." This sonfg is fresh, amazingly written, sexy, rocking, basically whatever you want to think. Dance madly to it, nod in acknowledgement, but JUST DO WHATEVER YOU CAN TO ACKNOWLEDGE THIS SONG! it is a masterpiece, it deserves its own printed card next to the lyrics in any mueseum, what would you rather, young boys singing about things you can relate to and having a great time? Or looking at musty paintings of landscapes? Listen to this song and change your life.
