Last song | Reviewer: Chris | 3/13/2008
It isnt the last one they made, The last 2 were What Became Of The Likely Lads? and Cant Stand Me Now, The opening line of the latter song sums up the relationship "An ending fitting for the start, You twist and tore our love apart."

"Oh my friend you haven’t changed
You're looking rough and living strange
And I know you got a taste for it too oh oh oh "
classic line about the relationship with pete and carl.
This is pete talking to his friend...
quality song | Reviewer: Mathew | 7/6/2007
yea i thought the same as matt, can just imagine the tensions in the band because of petes drugs. however i was watching a tv programme, cant remember where or when that was explaining this songs production. apartly pete was in the studio less than an hour and they had to piece together what they could (from petes vocasl) from just a small selection of vocals they manged to get from him... sounds fantastic still, shame pete couldnt have sorted his problems out and maybe this fantastic band would still be together. as much as i love dirty pretty things and babyshambles, they'll never truly capture the raw energy and passion of the libertines. with the recent reunion of pete and carl, its still a possibility in a year or two... or at least i hope
Are last look upon the good old days | Reviewer: Matt | 6/24/2007
For some reason when i hear this song i get the impresion it was the last recorded libs song that Carl and Pete could be in the same room without them pullig out 10 fisty cuffs.I think this song was recorded just when the drugs were getting the better of pete.
The song has a kind of hug and make up feel to it as well as containing the writ, energy and insight that we all love in the libertines. Classic song by a legendry band. May the sprit of Albion long live on.
Crowd Pleaser | Reviewer: Adam | 6/2/2007
Me and my band played this in a lib tribute act we done at the local pub. i am the singer and lead guitarist of the band, kinda like the Barat of the band. crowd loved it, was the first song on our set. definetly a loved song by all the fans including us.

The scream at the beginning is from a Legend of Zelda game... I love this tune.
