It captures the ending of the relationship running between these two song-writing geniuses over there musical careers in this band The Libertines. It incapsulates the break up to a tee, describing how Pete kinda robbed Carl with his *Quote* "Light fingers through the dark, that shattered the light and the darkness that cast us" *De-quote-ify*. If you listen really carefully, you can just hear Pete Doherty sniffing a bit, which just shows us how emotionally involved Pete Doherty is with his music. Not only is he a musical genius, hes a musical genius with feelings. That ammounts to 2...yes 2 musical geniuses merged together genetically, like a lab-rat in a New York dungeon/laboratory. ok...we mabye took the piss a tad there but anyway were a bit bored..trust us..we could write for days on this song.. ahemm....NME editors please email...not like that nob before us though.
