I liked the song. But I believe it means that he had a girl, left her in search of another girl, wanted the first girl back, and went off to search for her.

Ok so I am tottatly not a person for rock but after playing this on awesome GH I fell in love (even thogh I suck And get boo'd off every time) you can go f yurslf if u don't like; but its just total awesomeness

i think that in the start of the song he loves this girl and towards the end they break up and she hurts him and wont Reconcile with her which means make peace. she might have been a heartbreak and the song is a "hey i am over you and i will never make peace or be your friend" and he is fine with just rewinding the old memories of her. he doesnt want to make new ones.

I think the 1st part is talking about his first love and how he loves her but he feels like he's "just going through the motions" and tells her he wants to take a break to explore other girls. The chorus talks about how he has to go through with his decision to explore and hopes his first love gets over him. Then the second verse talks about how he has found another girl but he constantly thinks about the girl he left and wants her back. Then at the end he decides to chase after his first love. At least this all what i get from the song :)

Just because someone found a song in a video game doesnt make them fake. Just be happy they found the song. Stop bashing GH, because as long as people are listening to the songs, then it shouldn't matter. You guys are retarded.

Well I'm 14 and I've never played guitar hero... It just kind of stupid to be honest, haha. I play guitar and I think I'll stick to playing it instead of wasting my time on fake ones. Great song, either way!

like most of you i heard this song first on gh3 but didnt realize how amazing the band was til i checked out more of there stuff... this band only has 3 members and they rock so hard, the singer/guitarist has to be one of the most talented musicians out there right now!

I can't believe you would even post anything on here about you hearing it in guitar hero, If I were you it would be my biggest secret... Learn a real instrument and find songs on your own and not relying on video games to turn you on to new stuff

so yeah, I haven't heard one person give their opinion on the meaning of the song? Does anyone know? It's really interesting, at first it sounds like it's only talking about one girl, but then as it goes on, it seems to be referencing an internal battle in which he has to choose between the second girl (I know that you really wanna go) and the first girl (her heart in my hands), and if he doesn't want to leave the first girl alone and weak, but at the same time, he doesn't want to leave the second girl because he's already made a promise to her. I just dunno. My opinion. Feel free to interject.

I first heard this song on GH for cell phone, so no lyrics, i've never been able to play it on the phone either lol, especially on expert lol the buttons are too small, but my curiosity got to me and i downloaded the song....must say I LOVE IT!

First off this song Is Awesome, I first listened to it on GH, i can play it on expert and o real guitar y pretty cool, though GH is way harder, I keep messing up, lol... learned on real guitar its much Funner.

all of you are dorks arguing about dumb crap. I first heard the original song FCPSITSGEPGEPGEP on the self titled back when it first came out. it rocked. yeah its easier to play on guitar but FCPREMIX is freakin awesome and a lot more fun to play on guitar.

and as for the whole GH thing... As a guitar player of 10 years now.. Playing GH is harder than playing a real guitar. At least on a real instrument you can cover up your mistakes when you make them. I always end up mashing buttons on the hard songs... and for some reason i can't go backwards right (like in the end of that Muse song on GH3_
