The part where amanda talks about posture, right foot, left foot, reminds me of someone trying to keep balnace while under the influence. And the part where she pleads for the officer is like someone trying to avoid his punishment for driving while intoxicated...tose were just my interprtations, but it is a really great, deep song, and I love it... To me this song is about society trying to push an unique individual into a life mediocrity, and the person chooses to fight it despite the outcome possibly turning out for the worse.
