i think this song is really moving, especially the "If you don't love me let me go" part and the verse about the money lender, I think it's really something.
I wasn't really a big fan of the Decemberists but it really is a touching song.

I'm not in love with the entire song, but some parts are just so bittersweet-- they make you sad in a good way. look up kiersten holine on youtube or myspace and you can download her cover of this. it's so good.
