Poetry, emotion, memories, nostalgia, and beauty in the spoken word. It captures the south in a way folks who haven't been there can see and brings it home to us southerners. Actually, it makes us soutehrners now living away want to get in our cars and immediately drive home. Charlie Daniles hits a real high note with every word of this song. I grew up just down the street from CD's mom and even cut her grass as a kid. This Man is not only musically talented but a great man as well.
