Love both versions. | Reviewer: Noon
I think this is one of the best songs around. I love both versions of the song. I only came across the movie this year and thought it was fantastic. Have always been a Beatles fan and i loved the way this was sung in the film. It gave it a heartfelt, soulful meaning to it. It helped to get the sorrow of the song through.
Weeping for Love | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/17/09
I think this song is about harrison's disappointment that there were people out there with hate and who were not spreading their love (the love there thats sleeping). His Guitar symbplizes himself and how he is weeping and asking people to start to love (While My Guitar Gently Weeps"). He also seems to be at a loss for the reason so many people cannot express their love and why we can't live in peace (the multitude of "I don't know how" lines)
At first glance, it seems to be a song with love feeling, or even song with feeling of tragedy. Yea its a feeling of love but unexpressed. Harrison put forward his unexpressed love feelings. He thinks and only keep going thinking. When he is out of boundary then he found himself not capable of her. He symbolize his heart with his guitar. Harrison have very strong feeling, that until end his heart keep weeping. He looks himself and found to be cleaned. But still he is hanging towards her.

I really really like this song.
But since there is a lot of discussion about Across the Universe happening, I guess I'll say I really looove the movie. But sadly, I didn't like what it did with While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
