It's about how sick he is of American culture, American greed, and American imperialism and self rightousness. He doesn't want to live in this world being passed onto us in the younger generation. It's sick and it's twisted, and it's against all he wants to be and thinks the world should be. It's been awhile since I've heard a song that really strikes this much of a chord in me. What I make of the lyrics of this song is somewhat of a hit to American consumerism. Win doesn't "want the salesman knocking at his door", he wants to break free from todays America. He uses MTV as an image on todays pop-culture in saying "MTV what have you done to me?". Besides he makes a pessimistic remark conserning USA imperialism: "World war III when are you coming for me?" Also, he mentions global warming "what will it be now... or a rising sea?" All in all a great song raising quistions and publishing personal comments on todays western societies - putting it in everyone's faces how life can suck in America when you think about what heir we pass on to our children - "I don't wanna live in my father's house no more" ummm... | Reviewer: james | 11/2/2007 i havent heard Antichrist Televison Blues but this song isnt about a daughter that wants to run away from her father. it actually has nothing to do with a house or a father, its kindof all a big pun off of forefather. hes just saying america blows, and id like to get out now. one question | Reviewer: nora | 10/2/2007 only have one 'bad' thing to sat about this song; if Antichrist Televison Blues (sung by Win) is about an abusive father singing to his daughter,.. and Windowsill is about the daughter who want to run away then why didnt Regine sing it?? other than that, this is jst another breathtaking song by the best band in the world :) Add Your New Review About The Song
