WOW | Reviewer: Mark | 12/3/08 Just heard this song on the radio for the first time; absolutely couldn't stand it. The music is decent, but the lyrics (in my opinion) are just awful. Overall, I'd much rather spend my time listening to Skillet, Decyfer Down, Seventh Day Slumber, Pillar, Nevertheless, Hawk Nelson, Red, Falling Up, Kutless, Manic Drive, Brandon Heath, Thousand Foot Krutch, and so on. Sure, they're Christian bands, but I'm recommending them for those who don't like preachy lyrics. A lot of their songs deal with faith, overcoming struggle/addiction, hope, dealing with relationships well, standing firm in what you believe, moving over your past for a better future, etc. A good message is always guaranteed, and since God is sometimes referenced indirectly with the words "you," "him," "heaven," .... it can appeal to practically anyone.
