Review about Pour Yourself A Drink (Basement Demo) ------Performed by The Academy Is... | 06/17/2007 11:00:00 AM hm... this almost tells me that this song is about a girl who he doesn't really know all that well, but he does know her, but they haven't met... and the reason he doesn't want to meet her is he's scared that the life that he's chosen [being a famous band] will hurt her in the end, so he wants to keep her away from that. He doesn't want to make her wait for him while he's on tour, because he thinks that'll tear her apart. That maybe he does want to love her, but he can't because he doesn't want to hurt her. Even if I'm wrong, I do believe that is a truly heart felt song. But then again, what do I know? Thanks to Becky for submitting the review.
