Sell Outs? | Reviewer: tina | 8/31/07

Panic! At The Disco Is Not A Sellout! Get Got Good? Fall Out Boy Is... But The Academy Is Will Always Be The Same!

my interpretation of the song is;

it is not only about an abusive relationship but about alot of other things to, all the good things in life that end basically.

like abusive relationships it was great in the begugining then the love kinda ended and friends how they miss them all but its not enough to bring them back togther.
like the era is fnished basically.

just what i got outa it. THE ACADEMY IS IS THEE BEST. i just hope their new stuff isnt becomming to popular or they might end up the new fall out boys or panics SELL OUTS!

wow | Reviewer: jordan | 8/5/07

this song is actually really good..
and i nevah reli looked at the lyrics
but yeas i guess u guys are right
does sounds liek an abusive relationship ha!

Hm | Reviewer: Some chick | 7/30/07

=-= I wonder if it makes you all feel so smart to be able to say that it's about an abusive relationship?

The song itself is good. I liked it until they picked up the volume... I thought it was better when it was softer.
Still a really good song. Great lyrics, though I hated how much it repeated so much. A chorus is one thing, but... =-=;;

Amazing | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/23/07

i love this song. i guess it is about an abussive relationship now that i think about it, but i always looked at it like it was two people fighting and like one would wear sunglasses in the house to hid the tears so it wouldn't look like she was crying. it's a very meaningful song though, and i think you can look at this song anyway you interpert it. i love it though. william beckett!<33

okay. | Reviewer: joe | 7/19/07

This song is about being beat by your husband.. so most of you actually don't "completly relate"....

Out of the house, she grabs the keys, runs for the hills,
and doesn't leave a letter, that way the impact would be much better.
Away from the man that she's grown so fearful of, so fearful of.

Why,oh why you wear sunglasses in the home,
When the sun went down about an hour ago ?

all good things must end... | Reviewer: dee | 7/18/07

i really love this song. it made me cry, and i NEVER cry. This song is the ultimate lifetime tune. We all have mental struggles that constantly haunt us. WE have struggles in relationships, and in our everday lives. This song perfetly packages the human spirit when it is dampened. Its an amazing song that most can relate to. the lyrics are to live by, no joke.

Amazing song | Reviewer: Megs | 6/21/07

When I first listened to it, I was a little... bored by the beginning.
Then they hit the chorus, and I was totally fucking blown away.

I love the "speak now or forever hold your peace in pieces".

And I do think it's about an abusive relationship.
"Out of the house, she grabs the keys, runs for the hills,
and doesn't leave a letter, that way the impact would be much better.
Away from the man that she's grown so fearful of, so fearful of."

It seems to make sense.
Yes, all good things have to end but as they point out, "the good things live in our hearts."

What's sad is it's an unheard song, so far. I was singing it and people were like "..."

ALWAYS UP OR DOWN, NEVER DOWN AND OUT! <3
