Review about Wasting The Dawn ------Performed by The 69 Eyes | 02/26/2007 10:00:00 AM Deeply touching in death... I just lost my dad yesterday. (26th feb. 2007) I was sitting here and I had never heard this song. I wanted to get some more stuff by 69 and I was already impressed with the duet between H.I.M. and 69 in "Dark Secret Love". I spotted that Valo was in on making "Dawn" and thought I'd check it out. And I got another winner! This song gives me a feeling of calmness and just like Marina said, I feel like I'm somewhere else when I listen to it. The lyrics were like a brick in the face cuz of my loss and I find it somewhat weird that I stumbled upon this song at this moment. But everything happens for a reason... I find "Dawn" very emotionally relieving... The music has en edge but is kept very silent by Valo and Jyrki's choir-like singing. "Dawn" is a must in every 69 fan's collection! And in any other Metal/Rock fan's, that is... Thanks to N.K. for submitting the review.
