Review about Car Chase City ------Performed by Tenacious D | 12/11/2006 10:00:00 AM Car Chase City Review On this 15 track album Tenacious D are back in ultimate power. One of the songs over 2 minutes is Car Chase City. Combining Tenacious D's original acoustic metal with rock and opera instruments is a wacky plan but it turned out for the better. Car Chase City gives the album a more commercial sound and will make it more popular but thats not what tenacious D is about. It is an awesome song with killer riffs, solos and vocals but it's not traditional Tenacious D. It definitely displays the rock/metal capabilities of the band but with so many backup instruments drowns out their true talent. Its a good thing there are plenty of acoustic songs on the album so people get a taste of the true tenacious D. Netherless it is a good song and it still rocks.
