T.I.(aka-Clifford), is a human being who just happens to have a gift. A gift of "rapping" in ebonics, broken english and profanity. You know several years ago there was a young black man with the same kind of "gift" and sadly if you look around for him today, you'll have to look down, cause that's where Tupak is-six feet under. Some of Cliffords beats are rythmic and bouncy(ie, Top back and Big poppn)and yes he's sexy enough to make butter melt(Tupak had the same affect) but he's no KING of anybody, anywhere, or anything. He a human being; who fornicated with several woman and produced children-he's a father. He a human being; who had parents-he's a son. He's a human being; who was born with a gift-if he's not careful, is going to allow words(that don't really fit who he truelly is)to cause his family, children and those of us who just happen to think he's a special kind of human, a lot of grief. There's only one KING people-JESUS. For all that Clifford has been through in his relatively young life-poverty, disfunction, heartache, greif, prison, drugs, sexy hollywood ho's,fathering children,providing for his family,loving his woman, laughing, crying, eating, sleeping, hoping, believing, trusting, disappointments, awards, acting, singing and the reat of what humans experience here on earth, he's never nor could he ever save a soul; and I doubt very seriously if Clifford would ever allow one of his sons to be hung on a cross to die for me or any of you. Sooooo, at some point in Clifford's life, I'm praying as I did with Tupak that instead of taking the wonferdul gift that GOD created in him, and pleasing this world(which is going to pass away), he's renew his mind, cleanse his heart, repent, ask for forgiveness and become the true man that God created him to be. I believe GOD answers prayers. T.I. o T.I.P., is cute nicknames and as such those names have made Clifford quite famous and wealthy. Can you imagine what glory God would get if Clifford allowed GOD to use him and his gift to bring all the millions of fans TI/TIP has to the Kingdom of Heaven? No people, I'm not "hate'n", I'm keeping it real and if you care anything about Clifford or yourselves, you'd keep it real too; cause TI/TIP ain't.
