Some people are saying that its about a guy prostituting his girlfriend to get cash for heroin, but I think it's about him prostituting himself. The lines like "He wants nothing less But to wear a little dress" refer to his transexuality and the final line "I need someone to save my ass" refers to his need for someone to save him from prostitution. I think he is saying "She" because he thinks of himself as a "she" and the 'like heroin' is how he feels when he is her. This is just my interpretation. Though I cant speak from experiance because ive never done drugs. they say the first time is just amazing than you spend the rest of your time trying to get that first high. than your eventually just destroyed by it which is why I noticed that up till the vocalization bit it sounds sort of fun and amusing. than afterwords though he is singing the same exact words it sounds sort of somber and desperate. than at the end it just sounds completely miserable. which kind of describes the process to me. none the less still an amazing song. love SOAD!!! to all you flammers | Reviewer: tom | 5/3/09 This song means a lot.
